More than a basketball game.

In January, our GirlsVarsity Basketball program participates did more than just attend a basketball game, as part of our #DoMoreKnowMore campaign! We spent time with the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee's Academic and Athletic staff learning about the lives of a student-athlete, so that we can know more of what it takes to be successful at the next level –– both on and off the court . The day consisted of lunch, an academic advising session, the basketball game, and a team photo and meet & greet to close out the exciting day! Deonte Tatum stats “…it’s essential to show our student - athletes that they have to do more to know more of what it takes to succeed at the next level and take advantage of the opportunities within our communities to learn from Milwaukee’s premier Division I athletic program, UWM.”  Check out more highlights of the day below!
