Tryout Registration Fee: $15
Games are played on February 24, March 2 and 9.
Time Schedule:
6th - 8th GRADE BOYS
2:15 - 3:15 PM
Highschool BOYS
3:30 - 4:30 PM
6th-9th GRADE GIRLS
4:45 - 5:45 PM
*ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
Basketball tryouts are for players looking join Above and Beyond the Playground and becoming members of our year round training and development program. . This is were our coaches are able to evaluate player’s character, to see if they are capable of following THE ABP WAY. Their ability to work hard, competitiveness, willingness to learn will be tested in our one hour tryout. Players are encouraged to attend both tryout dates, however if you can only make one we understand. You only have to pay once. After the final weekend of tryouts each player will receive an email with invitation to join Above and Beyond the Playground (ABP). You will have 48 hours to accept the invitation and make a payment.

How many players will be on each team?
Our goal is to have 8-10 players on each roster
What tournaments or circuits are we on?
Teams that are ready for that level play in prep hoops or ny2la, developing team play in local events
How many tournaments do they participate in?
3rd through 5th participate in 6 tournaments locally, this age group will start practicing in April and games will start in May. Middle school play in 7 tournaments and High school plays in 9 tournaments
How much does it cost?
Yearly members pay $250 per month and individual members pay $350 per month
Where and how often do we practice?
We practice at ABP, practices will be twice a week.
How will I know if my child made the team?
We will send out an email asking to accept the invitation.
How about the uniforms?
If not returning player, uniforms will be purchased separately.
