Thinking and talking about point guards is always fun. The game is slowly moving away from point guards who can only defend or lead. The top young point guards like Ja Morant and De Aaron Fox are extremely fast, athletic, and creative with the ball. They are called upon to be playmakers for themselves and others.
Watching some of Ja Morant's footage from his high school days training in his backyard and seeing him doing plyometrics daily is why he jumps over seven footers in the NBA.
I've been Watching Russell Westbrook run hill sprints and train in the sand. These guys are elite athletes because of the extra training they do to enhance their ability.
So my question is, why are you not doing the extra work outside of basketball?
We are back to our training schedule two days a week: strength training and plyometrics. If you’re a member, you should take advantage of this opportunity every Monday and Thursday. If you’re not a member yet, you should inquire about it.
Greatness doesn’t happen by mistake. It belongs to those who work for it!
