The Power of Bouncing Back

Denzel Washington once said, "Fall down 7 times, get up 8." A lot of times we don’t want to do things that push us to be uncomfortable or challenge us to dig deeper. You can never know what you are capable of until you become unafraid to fall and get back up.

One of the reasons Michael Jordan is loved so much is because we watched him try to climb to the top of the mountain from 1984 to 1991. We watched him lose to the Boston Celtics and Detroit Pistons year after year. The pain and disappointment made Michael Jordan work harder and harder. He failed In front of millions of people every year but he dared to get up until he finally made it to the top of the mountain of Winning an NBA championship.

What do we get when we bounce back?

  1. Experience, you are learning what works and what doesn’t.

  2. You are developing your character to succeed at what you are going after

  3. You are being prepared for your next opportunity that you will be more prepared to take advantage of.

Bouncing Back is about you becoming the best version of yourself. Let your failures become the fuel that ignites your future. Don’t quit, don’t sulk! Learn and grow and keep going!
