This weekend our 16u and 15u boys competed in the Chi Town Tip Off in the Chicago land area. After a great week of practice and intense training, we really felt like we were going to have a good weekend. The 16U boys went 4-0. After a slow start to game one, they banded together and began playing exceptionally. The defensive intensity was some of the best defense at the tournament. We had several players take multiple charges and kept the other team from getting into the paint. After the defense started to click, the ball movement was great and the team enthusiasm went through the roof.
“Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to get players to understand how important it is to play hard and give up a little so that the team can WIN. At ABP WIN means Whatever IS Necessary. We have been preaching this since the start of training camp. This weekend showed what can happen when we focus on How to WIN” - Coach Tatum
The 15U boys improved their overall record to 5-3 on the season, going 3-1 over the weekend. These boys play hard and unselfish every game. The chemistry is only going to grow and get better. These guys are consistently training, practicing and competing at everything we do at ABP . Their hard work will keep paying off.
DJ Hennings, Messiah Chambers, and Gabe Vinson each made the list for being top performers at the CHI Town tip off. We are proud of the team and these guys!

It’s The ABP WAY!
