Hard or Harder

Hard or harder? Things in life and basketball can be either or. Your choices make make what your life will be. Do a little work and you might not play that much. This will make life harder for you to find your way. The other choice get up and grind when you are tired in the morning. Work out after practice and get up a couple hundred shots.

You can get overlooked for being too small or just not being very good and this can be harder to sit there and watch. The hard thing to do to overcome what others see as a weakness is to get in the weight room 4 days a week and train 5-6 days a week. Players who become workaholics usually end up surprising themselves and everyone who doubted them.

Developing discipline and doing things that challenge can create the opportunities we want. Get comfortable doing what’s hard so things don’t become harder.

Two great quotes to remind not only kids but us as adults too

“Developing discipline and doing things that challenge can create the opportunities we want”

“Get comfortable doing what’s hard so things don’t harder”

Nothing is easy, early morning work outs, practicing(extra) your craft, studying, weight room, running, all requires hard work, discipline, and consistent habits/routine, Only gets harder without consistency!
